What this site collects

This is a personal portfolio, so it collects as little as it can. There are no ads, no third-party trackers, and nothing is sold or shared.

When you browse

  • Page views. Each page you open is counted with its path and the page that linked you here. Nothing that identifies you is stored with it.
  • Visit emails. When someone visits, I get an email with the page, where they came from, their approximate location (city and country, from the IP address via my host), and their browser and operating system. Your IP address itself is never stored. To send at most one email per visitor per hour, only a salted, one-way hash of it (or the random browser ID below) is kept.
  • “Online now” count. While a page is open, it shows up in a live count of current visitors under a random ID. Nothing is saved after you leave.
  • Likes. To count one like per visitor, a like is stored with a random ID from your browser and the same salted IP hash.

Stored in your browser

  • A random device ID in local storage, used only for the like and visit-email limits above.
  • Your light or dark theme, if you pick one.
  • A list of pages already counted this visit (session storage, cleared when you close the tab).
  • One cookie, site_variant, set only if you use the “Hiring for a role / Need an app built” switch, so the site remembers your choice.

There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of the above.

When you get in touch

  • Project requests. What you enter on the contact form is stored and emailed to me, and used only to reply to you.
  • Testimonials. Your name, role, company, message, and rating appear on the site only after I approve them. Your email stays private.
  • Booking a call. Scheduling is handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy.

Services that handle this data

Vercel hosts the site and keeps standard server logs. Supabase stores the database. Resend delivers the emails. Calendly runs bookings.
